From June 8 to July 13, Lianghe Police together with Lianghe and Hexi Frontier Checkpoints, successively investigated 43 cases of alteration and use of altered nucleic acid test certificates . A total of 68 people involved in the crime were arrested and placed under administrative detention.
Lianghe County is located in the northeast of Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Mangshi , Longling , Longchuan , and Yingjiang Counties, which are adjacent to Myanmar, are under great pressure of the epidemic prevention and control. In order to further improve the situation and punish acts that hinder the epidermic work , Lianghe police launched a joint operation.
In one case , on June 22, a man driving alone from Lianghe County to Tengchong City, falsely claimed he didn’t carry a paper version of his nucleic acid test report and presented photos saved on his phone .
After verification, police found that the time of his nucleic acid test report did not match that displayed by the Yunnan Health Code. The suspect confessed of illegally using forged documents and was handed seven days administrative detention.
In another case , a man driving from Yingjiang County to Baoshan City , was inspected at the Hexi Border Checkpoint in Lianghe County and police on duty discovered that the date of his nucleic acid test report had been altered.
Upon questioning, he admitted that he used a nucleic acid test report with an altered date in order to cope with the inspection. He was given a 14-day administrative detention.
Police reminder: Under the normalized situation of epidemic prevention and control, it is the duty of every citizen to comply with laws and regulations, and to actively cooperate with public security organs and epidemic prevention departments. The police will deal with those who use forged or altered official documents, certificates, and documents. Illegal acts are resolutely investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law.
