On the afternoon of May 25th, Zhu, who lives in Beilian Village, Dashi Street, Panyu District, went to a community in Baihedong Street, Liwan District to visit his parents (their parents were confirmed as positive cases of new coronary pneumonia on the 30th). A staff member of the control team called Zhu and he then went to the hospital on June 2nd and 4th due to symptoms of cough and fever, but did not truthfully inform the doctor of his travel history in the past 14 days and concealed his contact with confirmed cases. He was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia by the fact that he had been to the high-end epidemic area.
As of June 6, before Zhu’s quarantine measures were taken, the trajectory of his activities had involved hospitals, convenience stores, grocery stores, fruit shops, stadiums and other public places under the jurisdiction of Dashi Street in Panyu District, causing a large number of people to become close contacts and subordinates. Close contacts need to be isolated for observation and home isolation. Zhu’s behavior failed to implement the epidemic prevention measures announced by the New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Headquarters in Panyu District, Guangzhou City, and he didn’t report to the local village (residential) committee nor accept health management measures .
Currently, Zhu has been criminally detained by the public security organ for being suspected of hindering the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
