Shenzhen ecently , Mr. Li , a resident of , filed a claim requesting for a formal apology from Ele.me . He recalled that he ordered food on the Ele.me platform at 11 o’clock on August 28 but didn’t get the delivery until 12:42, which was nearly 30 minutes after the timeout. He questioned the delivery man on the phone for his lateness , but was rather threatened and abused by the rider. After getting the food , he immediately reported the case to the Ele.me customer service through it’s online platform.
Screenshots show that he placed the order at 11:11pm on that day, the rider took the order at 11:49, and delivered it at 12:42.
