Epidemic Rules to Know if Traveling to Any of these Cities & Regions

What are the epidemic prevention policies of various provinces and cities during the national holiday ? Check below to find out information released by health committees of various regions across China.

1. Beijing: People from medium- and high-risk areas are temporarily not allowed to enter Beijing .

People from medium- and high-risk areas are temporarily not allowed to enter Beijing. People from counties in the cities where the medium- and high-risk areas are located who need to enter Beijing must have a negative nucleic acid test 48 hours before boarding and a 14-day health monitoring will be implemented upon arrival . People in low-risk areas across the country with no history of residence in high-risk areas within 14 days can use the health code “green code” to pass.

2. Tianjin: People with history of residence in Harbin need to obtain a nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours

Persons who have lived in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province coming to Tianjin are required to check the certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours (according to the sampling time); For people who have lived in Putian, Quanzhou, and Xiamen of Fujian Province , a certificate of negative nucleic acid within 48 hours or a health code “green code” containing information on negative nucleic acid testing is required.

3. Shanghai: 14-day centralized quarantine for people coming to Shanghai from high-risk areas

For people coming to Shanghai from high-risk areas, a 14-day centralized quarantine health observation and two new nucleic acid tests will be implemented. For those who come to Shanghai from areas with medium risk, strict community health management for 14 days, and two nucleic acid tests will be implemented.

4. Chongqing: People returning to Chongqing from high-risk areas are quarantined for 14 days

Centralized quarantine medical observation will be implemented for those coming to Chongqing from medium- and high-risk areas. The 7-day home isolation + 7-day health monitoring will be implemented for those returning to Chongqing from other low-risk areas in the counties (cities, districts) where the medium- and high-risk areas are located. All people who come to Chongqing and passed through the cities where the medium- and high-risk areas are located must hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

5. Harbin, Heilongjiang: Negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours

Passengers from areas of medium-to-high-risk locations must present a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.  It is recommended that citizens reduce their outings and travel. If they must travel, a 48-hour nucleic acid certificate is needed.

6. Changchun, Jilin Province: personnel in affected areas must hold a nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours

Those who return to Changchun from the affected area must hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

7. Shenyang, Liaoning: Centralized quarantine for personnels in medium and high-risk areas for 14 days

Those who return to Liaoning from cities where the medium-to-high-risk area is located, shall hold a valid nucleic acid test negative certificate within 48 hours. Those who return to Liaoning from the counties (cities, districts) and municipalities where the medium- and high-risk areas are located shall strictly implement a 14-day centralized quarantine medical observation.

8. Hohhot, Inner Mongolia: 5 nucleic acid tests for personnel in high-risk areas

Travelers from medium and high-risk areas will be quarantined for 14 days, and 5 nucleic acid tests will be implemented. Those in epidemic-related areas (counties, districts, county-level cities) must hold a valid nucleic acid test negative certificate within 48 hours.

9. Shijiazhuang, Hebei: 14-day centralized quarantine medical observation for personnel from high-risk areas

Those returning from high-risk areas will be subject to a 14-day quarantine medical observation; those returning from medium-risk areas will be subject to 14-day home health monitoring. Persons from low-risk areas in cities where medium- and high-risk areas are located must hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

10. Urumqi, Xinjiang: Passengers coming to Urumqi from high-risk areas are not allowed to transit

Domestic medium-high-risk areas, or people with history of residence in medium-high-risk areas on the itinerary code, who take a flight to Urumqi, need to hold a valid nucleic acid test negative certificate within 48 hours to complete the check-in procedures. Among them, all passengers coming to Ukraine from the medium and high risk areas are not allowed to transit, and transit is still allowed if there is a transit itinerary outside of Xinjiang on the same day.

11. Lanzhou, Gansu: personnel in high-risk areas undergo a nucleic acid test on the 7th to 10th day

Those returning to Gansu from high-risk areas of the epidemic must be quarantined for 14 days and undergo no less than two nucleic acid tests during the period. Those who return to Gansu from areas at risk of the epidemic must provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 7 days, implement home health monitoring measures, and perform a nucleic acid test on the 7th to 10th days.

12. Xi’an, Shaanxi: All visitors to Shaanxi must complete nucleic acid testing before boarding

All people who coming to Shaanxi (including transit passengers) must complete the verification of the negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding, otherwise they will not be allowed to board the flight.

13. Yinchuan, Ningxia: 7-day home health surveillance for personnel in high-risk areas

For those who have lived in the counties and districts in the high-risk areas within 14 days, check the negative nucleic acid test information within 3 days, and implement 7-day home health monitoring and 2 nucleic acid tests. Those who do not meet the requirements for home health monitoring will receive 7 days in designated places Centralized isolation medical observation.

14. Zhengzhou, Henan: People living in high-risk areas need to be quarantined for 14 days

People who have lived in high-risk areas coming to Zhengzhou need to be quarantined for 14 days. People who have traveled to Zhengzhou from a city where there is a medium-to-high risk area need to hold a nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours + 7 days of home health monitoring.

15. Jinan, Shandong: 4 nucleic acid tests are required for people coming to Jinan from medium- and high-risk areas

Centralized isolation medical observation and 4 nucleic acid tests are carried out for returnees from middle and high risk areas . People from prefecture-level cities where the local epidemic has occurred and neighboring areas at risk of spreading need to hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours for repatriation.

16. Taiyuan, Shanxi: People who have lived in Harbin within 14 days will provide nucleic acid testing

Those who have lived in Harbin and returned to Shanxi within 14 days from Fujian Province are required to provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours. Within 14 days, those who enter Shanxi from high-risk areas and return to Shanxi shall be subject to “14+2” centralized quarantine medical observation; those who return to promotion from medium-risk areas shall implement “14+2” home quarantine medical observation; other low-risk areas in cities where medium- and high-risk areas are located The “7+2” home health monitoring is implemented for personnels entering Shanxi.

17. Hefei, Anhui: People in medium- and high-risk areas should not come (return) to Anhui if not necessary

People from high-risk areas should not come (return) to Anhui unless necessary. If they must come (return) to Anhui, they must report to the destination epidemic prevention department and the community in advance, and provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours. Those who come (return) to Anhui from a city in a medium-high-risk area shall prepare a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours for future reference.

18. Changsha, Hunan: Centralized quarantine for personnel in high-risk areas for 14 days

Those with a history of residence in high-risk or medium-risk areas with local community transmission within 14 days will be subject to a 14-day centralized quarantine medical observation observation; within 14 days, those with a history of residence in a county or urban area where a high-risk area is located will be subject to 7-day home quarantine medical observation and 7 days home health monitoring; within 14 days, people with a history of living in the city where there is a medium-to-high-risk area will implement home self-health monitoring for 7 days.

19. Wuhan, Hubei: Passengers who have left mid-to-high-risk areas for less than 14 days will be quarantined

Passengers who have left a medium-high-risk area for less than 14 days will be quarantined by the epidemic prevention department for medical observation for 14 days. After the centralized quarantine period expires, they will be included in the community health management for another 14 days.

20. Nanjing, Jiangsu: personnel in high-risk areas must be quarantined for 14 days for medical observation + 7 days for home health monitoring

Persons in low-risk areas in districts and cities where medium- and high-risk areas are located shall hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours. People with history of residence in high-risk areas entering Jiangsu within 14 days must undergo “14 days of centralized quarantine medical observation + 7 days of home health monitoring”.

21. Chengdu, Sichuan: personnels from medium- and high-risk areas should provide nucleic acid test reports within 48 hours

Those who have lived in counties (cities, districts) in the high-risk area and who have lived in Sichuan are required to provide a negative nucleic acid test report within 48 hours, and implement home or centralized quarantine for 14 days.

22. Guiyang, Guizhou: personnels from medium-risk areas must present an approval certificate from the local epidemic prevention and control headquarters

Those who come (return) to Guizhou from a medium-risk area must present a certificate of approval from the local epidemic prevention and control headquarters and a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours, and a nucleic acid test at the first station of arrival in Guizhou; if there is no relevant certificate, follow the “14-day concentration Isolation + 14 days of home health monitoring + 7 nucleic acid tests” for control. Those who come to (return) to Guizhou from other low-risk areas in the city where the medium- and high-risk areas are located must hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.

23. Kunming, Yunnan: Red code personnel need to do a 14-day centralized quarantine medical observation

Those who have lived in high-risk areas in China and whose Yunnan health code is a red in the past 14 days need to be quarantined for 14 days; those who have lived in a medium-risk area in China and whose Yunnan health code is a yellow in the past 14 days must be quarantined for 14 days and consciously conduct 7-day home health monitoring.

24. Nanning, Guangxi: personnel in high-risk areas need to provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours

For personnel returning to Guangxi from medium- and high-risk areas in China who have arrived in Guangxi for less than 7 days, a 14-day centralized quarantine medical observation will be implemented. Those who have arrived in Guangxi for more than 7 days but less than 21 days will be subject to a 7-day centralized quarantine medical observation. For 21 days, 1 nucleic acid test will be carried out and 7-day health monitoring conducted.

25. Lhasa, Tibet: People in low-risk areas report negative nucleic acid test within 3 days

All people who come (return) from low-risk areas can pass freely with the negative nucleic acid test report (certificate) within 3 days, itinerary card and their green code. Persons from medium-risk areas shall hold a report (certificate) of negative nucleic acid test within 3 days; persons in high-risk areas should not come (return) in principle.

26. Hangzhou, Zhejiang: Implementing “2+14” health management measures for personnel in high-risk areas

People from counties (cities, districts) where the medium- and high-risk areas are located shall implement the “2+14” health management measures; personnel in the medium- and high-risk areas of the domestic epidemic should temporarily postpone their return to Zhejiang, and if they have already returned to Zhejiang, implement the “14+7” “Health management measures.

27. Nanchang, Jiangxi: Persons from medium and high risk areas (returning) to Jiangxi need to hold a nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours

Those who have lived in (returned) to Jiangxi from a medium-to-high-risk area must hold a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours. Please arrange your travel reasonably and do not go to medium and high-risk areas. People from medium and high-risk areas should temporarily postpone their arrival (return) to Jiangxi.

28. Guangzhou, Guangdong: People coming to (returning) to Guangdong from high-risk areas are quarantined for 14 days

14-day centralized quarantine for people from high-risk areas (returning) to Guangdong; for people who come (return) to Guangdong from counties (districts) where high-risk areas are located, a 7-day home quarantine + 7-day home health monitoring will be conducted; for high-risk areas , Those who come (return) to Guangdong will carry out three-day , two-checks and 14-day home health monitoring; for those who come (return) to Guangdong where local transmission is at risk, 14-day home quarantine will be carried out ;

29. Fuzhou, Fujian: Centralized quarantine of people entering (returning) to Banyan in high-risk areas

People entering (returning) from Putian, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, and Harbin of Heilongjiang Province must check the nucleic acid negative certificate within 48 hours; those entering (returning) from high-risk areas shall adopt centralized isolation management according to regulations; Persons entering (returning) to the Banyan tree in medium-risk areas shall be managed by home isolation in accordance with regulations.

30. Haikou, Hainan: People with history of residence in the affected area shall pass with 2 negative nucleic acid test certificates

Persons with a history of residence in high-risk areas within 14 days will be quarantined at the port of entry for 14 days. After the quarantine period expires, the nucleic acid test will be negative, then home health monitoring will be carried out for another 7 days, and another nucleic acid test at the end. Those who have a history of residence in the affected area within 14 days can pass with a certificate of negative nucleic acid test twice within 48 hours (24 hours apart).
