Recently, the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design released the “Global Cities 2021 Annual Report under the “One Belt and One Road” Initiative”, and Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, ranked 91st in the 2021 global value and vitality cities. This is the first time Hefei has entered the global top 100 since the report was released in 2019. Among the cities in Mainland China, Hefei ranks 17th.

This year’s report analyzes 513 cities around the world with global value vitality through 3 dimensions and 15 indicators, and measures the vitality of cities in the global value chain network.

Tokyo, Japan, Shanghai, China, and Beijing, China are among the top three cities with global value and vitality in 2021.

Hefei has obvious advantages in humanities, location, transportation, ecology, science and technology, etc. It has unlimited potential and promises. It must dare to compare with advanced international cities, raise the benchmark, and strive to reach a new level.
