Hefei primary and secondary schools began distributing textbooks to students yesterday March 21. In order to avoid gathering, many schools are doing this by recruiting parent volunteers and also arranging separate time for collectors.
Yesterday morning, at the Tunxi Road Elementary School Gymnasium in Baohe District, Hefei City, parents could be seen taking their children’s textbooks in an orderly manner according to previously arranged time. All parents entering the school need to take a temperature measurement and show the “Ankang code”. Students are not allowed to enter the campuses.
It is understood that many schools had already received textbooks as early as February, but couldn’t distribute them timely due to the impact of the epidemic. Parents are excited about the announcement and most believe that the distribution of textbooks indicates that schools are preparing for re-0penning soon.
